Echter Jasmin
Jasmine (Jasminum officinale), Common jasmine, or more accurately Echter Jasmin, belongs to the genus Jasminum of the family in the olive family (Oleaceae). (Syn: Jasminum grandiflorum) (Persian: یاسمن, یاس, Yas, Yasaman)

Distribution
Jasminum officinale is the only native species of the genus in southern Europe. This kind of jasmine is originally from the warmer Southwest Asia (Persia, Iran, where there are several types of jasmine with very different types) and is often run wild in southern Europe.

Use
The highly fragrant flowers are processed with the help of grease or oil to Jasminpomade.

Jasmine flowers give the jasmine tea its distinctive aroma and taste.

The branches are used for the production of chibouque.
